Kris Bell will be rocking with Skinny Molly tomorrow!

If you are going to be in the Austin area on Thursday, Kris will be stepping in to play guitar again with his friends in Skinny Molly. It’s fun to watch Kris step into that roll and play lots of Southern Rock with Mike Estes and the other guys. I can almost bet that FREEBIRD will be seen…. and you know, Kris Bell and FREEBIRD is one combination that is unforgettable! I will admit to pouting a little… hate for Kris to come to Texas to perform in any capacity and not be there (as his number 1 Texas fan ya know LOL) to support him… but can’t make this one. Makes me sad…. and just pray for another Texas date soon LOL, pretty please Kris LOL. I have had the pleasure of seeing Kris perform with this band and really enjoyed it! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that Kris is getting exposure out there anyway! You know people are gonna say, “Who is that guitarist?!”. Hope you have some Kris cards to pass out with ya, even when you are with Skinny Molly, Kris… cause you know people are gonna be watching and listening to you! How weird is it…

…to be in Nashville and not see Kris Bell? VERY weird. I had a stressful week and had thought I was going to have to work over the weekend, but at 4 pm last Friday, it was determined that I couldn’t do what I needed to do this weekend. SO, since I knew that Jimmy Mitchell and Double Down (aka JMADD) were playing at French Quarter Cafe, I packed a bag and headed south.

Jimmy, JRoxx and Coop–the same John Cooper from the Kris Bell Band–put on a great show, especially since FQC was having technical issues. Plus I had a good time hanging with my friends PMC and CindyG.

So, while Kris is hard at work in the studio, check out these guys if you can…

Lynyrd Skynyrd All I Have Is A Song

Do you ever think about the days before we all knew each other? Before we had heard of Kris Bell? Before Rebel Bell was even a thought in someone’s mind? The days before I discovered blogging? ROTFL!!

We now adore the man, the music, the guys in the band, and each other…the before seems like such a different lifetime. Kinda cool….kinda weird..in a good way LOL. I like this time in my life!!! I hope ya’ll do too. Don’t you feel like we are on the edge of something GREAT?! The excitement is in the air around Rebel Bell….the future is gonna be wild! I can’t wait to see that excitement grow and grow. I am so glad and proud for what Kris has done and will be doing (know ya’ll are too) ….he was doing it long before he knew about us or we knew about him, but I am glad to have jumped on this journey. I’m also glad to be sharing it with all of you. My head gets crowded with thoughts of this group, but only in the best possible kind of way LOL! I like being a Kris Bell fan a lot! I’m thinkin’ it is one of the best things to be! Who knew just a few short years ago…..but I think it is pretty cool! K…..enough rambling, go back to your daily life, but keep a Kris Bell song in your heart and head today. It’ll keep you smiling!!

What’s he gonna play?

Twenty-four hours from now, Kris Bell and the boys will be tearing up the stage at Texas Rockfest. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I know I’ve been wondering what songs the Kris Bell Band will be playing.

The show is called “Rockfest.” So, will Kris go full on rock and play Living for Tomorrow, With You In Mind, and Wrong Road? Toss in The Match for spice? Runnin’ Out On You to display his range? Destined to show his softer side?

It’s futile at this point to consider making requests. The set list is, well, set. Rehearsals are finished. Kris and the band are on their way to Texas, where they’ll join old friend and Texas native Heath Clark to put on the kick ass show we know they can tomorrow night (Friday, March 14, 6:30 pm Central at the Texas Rockfest Guitar Hero III Main Stage, 613 Trinity (between 6th and 7th Streets) Austin, Texas, free admission!!!). No matter what songs they play, they will rock the house!

Look out, Rockfest! The KBB is coming to town. And so am I! (YAY!)

3 More Days!

Only 3 more days until a little bit of live Kris music! I am excited…excited about getting a little dose of that wonderful music and Kris Bell charm, excited about seeing my sweet sister friends, excited about seeing the guys in KBB and Heath too, excited about the hugfest that always happens when we all get together LOL, just plain ole EXCITED! The saddest part (as always) is the fact that ALL the friends can’t be there. You know we will take care of you….pix and cell cert promised LOL! But we always miss those who aren’t there. Plain and simple. You will be with us in our hearts, dear friends. Looking forward to seeing what Kris chooses to play. There are gonna be sooooooooo many people there who experience KBB for the first time. I am SO excited (should say WE are so excited…..BiceBabe and I had a good chit chat about this last night LOL) to see the reactions others have. They won’t know what hit them and THAT is a good thing!! 3 more day until another fun time…..I can’t wait for it to get here! The next step after this weekend…..planning for the next fun time LOL!!
