It’s been a little while since our last Rebel Bell blog…. the Belle’s needed a little rest… but here we are, back again, well rested and full of energy that comes only from our favorite music and our favorite rock star!  While we have been on hiatus, Kris has been rockin’ up a storm!  Doing shows galore as well as studio work on an upcoming EP.  I think that is just awesome – DEFINATELY the GOOD kind!   Don’t you?  I know I am looking forward to a little more KB music on my iPod. 

Remember to keep up-to-date on what Kris is doing by checking out his website. There is a calendar there with upcoming shows and if you haven’t been to one in a while (like me) or even if you were at one just this past weekend, you don’t want to miss any opportunity to get to one soon.  With shows over the next few months in Tennessee, Georgia and my personal favorite TEXAS… there are some great chances to get in on an amazing show!

FYI:  Kris has been nominated for two awards in the MUSIC CITY MAYHEM AWARDS.  That event will be held on March 24, 2012 at the Rutledge in Nashville!

BREAKING NEWS:  Starting tomorrow (1-25-12), you can go to Hard Rock Cafe Nashville’s Facebook page and download a KB tune as he competes in the Hard Rock Rising competition.  Go…. download… and send ALL your friends there too!  But remember:  it doesn’t start until TOMORROW.

I know this show isn’t for another month, but hey, it’s my blog and I’ll talk about it if I want to   Kris has a number of shows happening over the next few weeks, but none as big as this one – Dungeon Promotions presents Lynch Mob, featuring George Lynch of Dokken fame.  If you grew up in the 80′s and 90′s like I did (please, don’t do the math to calculate my age!), you remember hits like “Alone Again” and “In My Dreams.”  Well, not only is THIS guy playing, but so is the Kris Bell Band!  The show also features bands familiar to KBB fans:  Blackwater James and Sexstone will round out the lineup.

Not only is the music for this show great, there are some awesome benefits to attending.  First, there’s the meet & greet.  Everyone who attends will get to meet Lynch Mob!  Not a select few.  EVERYONE!  And second, if you’re a guitar player, you’ll have a chance to win the opportunity to get on stage and jam with Lynch Mob.  What a unique opportunity for the guitar players in the crowd!  I know at least one or two guitar players who want to win that one!

This show is expected to sell out (12th and Porter is a fabulous venue, but it’s no Bridgestone Center), so get your tickets ASAP!  Just go to the Dungeon Promotions website and follow the links.  Tickets are $15 in advance, or, if there are any tickets left on the day of the show, you’ll pay $20.    Go get ‘em!  And I’ll see ya there!

Friday Night 7-8-11:  LOCAL BUZZ with Tony Stone is presenting it’s first LIVE show with KRIS BELL, Halo Stereo, Bow Echo and Throwing Gravity!  This fun night in Nashville will be held at the Rutledge and starts at 9.  Cost to get in the door is ONLY $7! It’s gonna be an awesome night.

Saturday Night 7-9-11:  Kris is rocking Cruisers in Somerset, KY with Stumpwater and Gravel Switch!  Just $10 to get in and the doors open at 7 with the music starting at 8 pm.

TWO shows….ALL that rockin’!  It’s worth getting excited about!  Hope to see TONS of Kris Bell fans at both events!  (Ok..yes… I get to be at both events…and you KNOW that makes me SMILE really, really BIG!)

*BREAKING NEWS*  It’s a video shoot with the Kris Bell Band!  SUNDAY, JULY 24 10-4!  Don’t miss this if you don’t have to!! (Ok.  I have to.  THAT does NOT give me the really, really BIG smile… LOL…. BUT I know some friends who are rockin’, ready and able to be there to get this done!  It’ll be a blast!  What a lot of amazing Kris Bell music to experience and enjoy!

The shows just keep coming and coming!  Band shows…acoustic shows…. what the world needs is more Kris Bell shows, and that is happening!  Watch for one that YOU can get to.  That’s a treat you need to give yourself!

The video shoot will cap off a great weekend of KBB music.  Kris and the boys will start the weekend Friday night, July 8, at the Rutledge, hitting the concert series – Local Buzz Live with Tony Stone, put on by WBUZ 102.9 FM The Buzz.  And on Saturday night, July 9, the boys will head north and east to the great music town of Somerset, KY, for a StarGazer Productions event at Cruisers, playing with Stumpwater and Gravel Switch.  This show promises to sell out, so if you’re wanting to attend, get your tickets ($10/person) now!

If July 8 is too long to wait for a Kris Bell show, be sure to head to Spring Hill, Tennessee, this Friday night, July 1, at Dolan’s Deli and Bar for a FREE show.  Showtime is 9 pm.
